Squire’s first glimpse of a future in photography came after seeing a spread of Peter Beard. Beard was stuck in the mouth of an alligator while writing in his journal, surrounded by beautiful women in the African landscape. Born into a creative family, Squire was influenced by his mother, a painter and quintessential Southern hostess; and his father and grandfathers—all furniture craftsmen who drank bourbon and ate oysters. After his studies at Savannah College of Art & Design and The Maine Photographic Workshops, Squire moved to NYC where he has since developed a client base that includes Levi’s, Converse, Dockers, Bose, Johnston & Murphy, Schwinn, Target, TJ Maxx, UK Traveller, and L.A. Magazine. Squire lives with his wife and 2 children and commutes between NYC and the surf in Charleston, SC. CLIENTS
